Which would be the 1st of its kind in India in the Private Sector. This was as a result of lot of encouragement from highly placed persons like the then C.M. of Rajasthan and the Vice President of India honorable Shri Bhairaon Singh Shekhawat. At the same time he also came across great barriers in getting the idea through which the existing beurocracy  at the level of GOI, GOR, VCI and RAU, Bikaner. However with the great determination and moral support from his friends he could get through the barriers and was able to obtained formal permission from GOR for establishment of the college in 1998.
The dreams of  Prof. and Dean Dr.S.S. Rathore , a world renowned equine specialist, who has dedicated his entire  life for the services of the speechless animals and showed newer heights to the veterinary profession. He along with couple of his colleagues toiled hard to get the clearance from all concerned quarters to establish the Apollo College of Veterinary Medicine, Jaipur. His efforts and determination bore fruit and the college was affiliated to RAU, Bikaner in 2001. He was able to procure 6 acres of land from the govt. where in construction was started for the college building and hostel with whatever meager resourses at hand and loan from the bank after a brief stone laying ceremony in 2001.
It was decided that till such time that the college building would be available, college would be established in a rented accommodation.
