The Apollo College of Veterinary Medicine, Jaipur is the pioneer institution in private sector for imparting quality Veterinary education. It is the first private veterinary college not only in Rajasthan but also in the country. It offers Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.). It was established on 6th October, 2003. This college has been granted affiliation by the Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner. It follows the curriculum prescribed under minimum standards for veterinary education degree course-BVSc&AH, Regulations, 1993 by Veterinary Council of India (VCI).

The vision of ACVM is to educate and train highly skillful and competent veterinary professionals, who will be equipped to handle livestock health care and management under socio-economic environmental conditions. This in turn will enable students be globally competitive in their chosen field and acquire international standards on different aspects of livestock industry. ACVM students will have modern technical education and training and to strive to preserve unique enduring humane treatment to all livestock entrusted to their care.

OBJECTIVES

• To impart quality Veterinary education as per the standards of Veterinary Council of India (VCI), in the field of livestock      health    care and management, and animal production sciences and technology.
• To encourage interest in livestock production as an industry in private sector and to develop entrepreneur skills for self     employment.
•  Facilitate preventive, curative and rehabilitative animal health care with optimum livestock productivity and safety human     health.
• To built a strong biotechnological base for improved diagnostics, immunological and therapeutic control of diseases and to    develop epidemiological based forecasting system for the benefit of livestock owners.
